FaunalAnalysis.com is a small Sole Prop operated consulting firm founded in 2004.  We are currently based in the Austin, Texas area. Our primary focus is on material recovered from archaeological contexts within the Southeastern United States, Southern Plains, High Plains, Midwest (Prairie Peninsula), Edwards Plateau and the rest of Texas.  We have ample experience with both historic and prehistoric assemblages.  While our comparative collection and current literature resources are geared towards the regions above, we are always ready for a challenge and willing to accept contracts for assemblages from any region provided the appropriate permits and Section 106 procedures (or other State and Federal laws) have been addressed.
