Faunal Analysis is the application of zooarchaeological methods and theories to the interpretation of animal remains (bone, shell, keratin, etc...) recovered from archaeological sites in order to rediscover the past lifeways of people who lived at or used an archaeological site.
FaunalAnalysis.com is a small consulting firm solely devoted to identifying and interpreting the fragmented bone recovered from archaeological sites. We have, however, also identified animal remains recovered as part of forensic investigations.
